Citizens Academy

The Citizens Academy is a partnership between the Office of the Sheriff and the citizens of the County. This cooperation allows for more transparency of day-to-day operations, and grants candidates an opportunity to get more involved in their community.

Community Policing Data

Beginning July 1, 2021 Sheriffs, Police Forces, and State Police officers are required to report certain data pertaining to motor vehicle or investigatory stops.

Crime Prevention

The Office of the Sheriff believes proactive policing and utilizing effective Crime Prevention Programs in partnership with the citizens of the County remain integral in reducing crime within the community.
