FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS “NO ONE LIKES A DISTRACTED DRIVER.”

Driving Distracted

Distracted driving doesn’t always mean you are on your cell phone. Here are just a few examples of distracted driving;

Changing the radio stations or volumes….adjusting the heat or AC…..looking for something you dropped in the floorboard…….turning around to speak to a backseat passenger…..applying makeup.

Any action the takes your eyes off the highway and diverts your attention off operating your motor vehicle could be “Distracted Driving.”
