SHERIFF'S OFFICE BRINGS CRASE CLASS TO LOCAL BUSINESS

IMG_0441

Recently, Sgt. Darryl King, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, held a CRASE training for the employees of Capp’s Home Building Center, Westlake.

CRASE stands for Citizen Response to an Active Shooter Event.

Sheriff Bill Overton said, "We bring these types of training to Franklin County businesses, civic groups, non-profits, churches and other group settings in hopes to educate our residents in case a tragic incidents occur. Ask yourself, what would you do in an Active Shooter Event? Hopefully, everyone learns how to respond to this question upon leaving this session. Thanks to all the management and staff at Capp’s for making this a priority."

If your group is interested in a CRASE class, contact Sgt. Darryl King at darryl.king@franklincountyva.gov or call 540-483-6850.
